Gelber Muskateller BIO 2020

This elegant white wine from the Urbanihof organic winery in Fels am Wagram, run by Sonja and Franz Paschinger, now in its 11th generation, shows its charmingly fresh side.

In the glass, the wine presents itself with a bright, fresh color and a delicate green shimmer. The bouquet is fine and elegant, strongly characterized by floral aromas, which are later complemented by fruity notes of citrus and lime as well as a fresh green apple (Granny Smith). A subtle hint of nutmeg spice pervades the floral, expressive bouquet and lends the wine additional character.

On the palate, the wine impresses with an elegant, dry presence and a finely chiselled acidity structure that emphasizes the freshness. The subtle nutmeg aroma remains present on the palate and, together with the lively structure, ensures uncomplicated yet sophisticated drinking pleasure. This wine is an ideal summer and terrace wine that is uncomplicated, fresh and multi-faceted in equal measure – perfect with light dishes or simply enjoyed on its own.
