We have deliberately chosen this route to ensure that we only source the best coffee beans, which are grown in mixed cultures in Honduras. Unlike industrial agriculture, which is dominated by monocultures, in mixed cultures different plant species are grown together to protect the soil and preserve the ecosystem.

Our coffee beans come from a friend in Honduras who grows other plants in addition to coffee. This type of cultivation provides the soil with nutrients and avoids pest infestation, which means that the use of pesticides is minimized. Our coffee beans are 100% Arabica and have a unique aroma that is intensified by growing them in a mixed culture.

We source our coffee directly from Honduras to ensure that we always get the best quality. Furthermore, we are proud that our coffee is harvested in collaboration with the village community to ensure that the community is treated fairly and in partnership.
